Hey - I’m Carol Gagliotti, founder of Ubuntu Bloom and it is an honor to have you here. Attention is the most valuable thing you have, so thank you for using yours to navigate this special space created to develop meaningful connections and build a true community.

More than a Bantu word, Ubuntu is an ancient African philosophical concept that translates as “humanity to others” and it is famously summarized as “I am because we are”. Every connection we make and how we choose to spend our time, love and resources will guide and contribute in forming who we are.

No man is an island, it takes a village to raise a child, and so many other sayings are there to remind us that interconnectedness, compassion and mutual respect are the recipe for social harmony.

In a world of fast-fashion, quick communications and so much waste, I’m truly grateful you’re here choosing to connect with other beautiful humans, their art, their lifelong projects and to be part of this community.
